The San Diego Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA) was established in 1920 with the focus of supporting and enhancing the lives of local active duty military members and their families – Serving Those Who Serve America. The mission of the ASYMCA is to improve the lives of junior enlisted service members and their families in mind, body, and spirit by providing free programs and services relevant to the unique challenges of military life.
Our Vision-
The San Diego ASYMCA helps families “stress less and connect more” through programs for family bonding, social networking, and youth development.
Programmes and Activities-
The San Diego Armed Services YMCA serves over 6,800 military service members and their families each month with free programs within our four departments: Youth and Community Outreach, Family Outreach, Active Duty Programs, and Naval Medical Center Programs.
